What are we seeing from our perspective as a trade association? What are the key issues facing our industry in order to sustain its vitality and growth? Across the domains of the health and biomedical industry, standards of quality vary widely. What can we learn and how can we improve?
Dr. Larry Kuusisto is the Vice President of Education for LifeScience Alley, which provides comprehensive continuing education for its 550+ organization membership in order to enhance innovation and collaboration. Included are monthly programs produced for their Manufacturing and Quality, and Regulatory Affairs shared interest groups, and specialized programs, such as, Statistics for Quality. Dr. Kuusisto is also the Executive Director of Alley Institute, which is the research and workforce development affiliate of the trade association. He designed and implemented LifeScience Alley’s MAC-CIM process determining consumer health care coverage, and has conducted numerous workforce enhancement studies. Dr. Kuusisto holds a PhD in Educational Policy and Administration, Higher Education, and was a Post-doctoral Fellow in Health Services Research and Policy in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota.
