Cultural Complementarity
Today’s global realities require organizations and individuals to adopt a new worldview. In order to succeed in the environment of today’s reality we need to look at it through a new lens. If we can agree on a common overarching goal and recognize the complementary value of each person and culture in achieving that goal, we can optimize their unique potential through CC.
Cultural Complementarity is a paradigm-shifting process to help different organizational, disciplinary, ethnic and national cultures, in pursuit of a common goal, to optimize the added value of cultural collaboration. CC begins with the premise that a full understanding of reality lies beyond the capacity of any organization, individual, ethnic group and nation at any given time… that we all must constantly learn from one another and our environment. The principles of CC are intended to empower all individuals and cultures to contribute to the pursuit of common goal and objectives in their own unique way, rather than comply with the dominant culture or mindset, while respecting similar values. By incorporating the principles of CC, individuals and organizations will be equipped to succeed in a complex and rapidly changing global marketplace.
Mr. Garcia will make participants aware of how the principles of CC can address the challenges of the new global business and economic reality. The presenter will provide participants with the basics of the CC process and how it optimizes the perspectives of members of ethnic, disciplinary, national and organizational cultures to work with global markets, the environment and each other in a synergistic and sustainable direction. Participants will be better able to harness the unique experience and perspective of an organization’s personnel, associates and partners in order to “see,” understand, and manage the complex reality in which they work so that their organization can better compete and grow in the international marketplace.
