Chair's Corner
At ASQ July is a very important month. We experience the excitement of new beginnings. We usher in the coming year by welcoming our new board members. Looking around the table we see all the fresh faces, ready to take charge of their respective committees and help drive your organization forward. We couldn’t be more thrilled to tap into their innovative and dynamic ideas. Thank you for stepping up to the plate and giving so selflessly of your time, energy and expertise.
As our new board members are introduced, we sadly say good-bye to some of our veterans. Time commitments, family obligations and work responsibilities have forced you to decline further board service. We can’t thank you enough for all your efforts. There’s no way we could have made the progress we enjoyed without your input.
As I sure you are aware, our committees function on the same calendar as our board. The excitement we feel about our recent board additions is further intensified by a new crop of volunteers. We welcome you with open arms and applaud your desire to give your best to ASQ.
As chair I want to start out by saying that we want to maintain an “open door policy”. We welcome your questions, comments and critiques. In an effort to serve you better we are asking you to contact us and let us know what’s on your mind. Our goal is to have an open dialogue with you and utilize your comments to further meet your needs. Remember we are only an email away.
